Rad Bonds, longtime Gainesville police officer, is shown at his retirement (August 1965) after serving twenty-eight years, one month, and fifteen days with the Gainesville Police Force. Bonds turns in his gun to Chief Hoyt Henry. Looking on are (L-R): John Burel, Hoyt Henry, Red Singleton, Bonds, Cut Parks, Mac Vickery, and Frank Strickland. Photograph taken in 1965.
