- Description:
- Arlington Hotel which later became the Dixie Hunt Hotel. Photograph taken around 1925 of the Arlington Hotel, which later became the Dixie Hunt Hotel and is now (1985) Hunt Towers. The Arlington was built in 1882, largely destroyed in the 1936 tornado, and rebuilt. The Arlington functioned as the starting point of stages for Dahlonega, White Sulphur, New Holland, and Porter Springs.
