- White Sulphur Springs Hotel. A side view of the beautiful White Sulphur Springs Hotel, also called Oconee White Sulphur Springs. The spring had been a noted health resort for more than half a century. The hotel had wide porches, double parlors, a dining room to accommodate about one hundred people, and many bedrooms with private baths, sleeping porches, numerous cottages each with running water, electric lights and baths. The hotel burned in 1933.
