- Description:
- The new Johnson and Johnson Mill (Chicopee Manufacturing Corp.) around 1927. The largest one-story textile mill in the world, according to information on an old photograph. Dwellings for the village were being constructed at back. Each had an ice-box and electric stove. The mill motto was "Cleanliness is next to Godliness". Mill was completed June 15, 1927.
