- Andrew Taylor Lott home. The home of Andrew Taylor Lott at Chestnut Mountain, around 1900. Andrew T. Lott's father, Jesse Lott, Jr., came from South Carolina to Georgia in the 1820s. Andrew T. Lott was born on December 21, 1848, in Hall County. He was married to Margaret Hanes. His two sons were William Louis Lott and Walter Newton Lott.
