- Griffin Bros. Cotton Gin. Photograph of the Griffin Bros. Cotton Gin in Clermont, taken around 1926. Moody "Mood" Griffin, Mayor of Clermont, is standing beside the building. Wagons, filled with cotton and pulled by mules, are waiting in line for ginning. Long lines of wagons would start forming before daylight in cotton ginning season.
