- Andrew Thompson home. Photograph of the Andrew Thompson home. Originally constructed of logs, it is probably one the the oldest houses in Hall County now standing. The house is located across Thompson Bridge off Thompson Bridge Road on the shore of Lake Lanier on Dunlap Place. First part of the house probably built prior to 1819; back part added in 1834.
