- Description:
- View Looking Up South Main Street, June 1903. Photograph showing a view looking up South Main Street from the Southern Depot after the tornado of June 1, 1903 in Gainesville, GA. The group of men are standing in front of what was Logan's Store, in which five men were killed during the tornado. The wind turned to the right after passing Logan's Store, thus missing the business portion of the town.
