- Joy Zedler was a professor at San Diego State University and the University of Wisconsin, Madison where she worked on ecological conservation of wetlands and sedge meadows. She served on the boards of The Nature Conservancy, the Environmental Defense Fund, and the Independent Science Board of the California Bay Delta. In this interview, she talks in detail about this work and also explains her role in promoting the Waubesa Wetlands as a Ramsar site.
