- Bill David grew up in Comer, Georgia during the 1960-70's and as a child he played the guitar and occasionally visited Athens, Georgia. Eventually, David came to live in Athens where he performed with the Squalls as the band's guitarist. David has also played with The Yams and the Jolly Beggars. In this interview, David talks about his performance experience, interactions with different bands from Athens, and the Downstairs Cafe.
