- Etta Mae Zimmerman was a textile worker and union member from Hogansville, Ga. Leona Parham is Etta Mae Zimmerman's sister.
Etta Mae Zimmerman was arrested for picketing during the 1934 strike and held at Fort McPherson for a week with her father. The sisters discuss what led up to the strike, living conditions inside the make-shift prison, and the names of fellow prisoners. - Local Identifier:
