During that time she has been a member of the American Nurses Association and for over 27 years been an active member in the Kentucky Nurses Association, where she once served as President. In this interview, Turner discusses her nursing education, career progression, changes she has seen in the profession, and she predicts and warns about the future of nursing in the year 2000.
