- In this recording, the 5th district of the Georgia Nurses' Association hosts a board meeting. The President of the district answers member questions especially those concerning the economic security program and policy voted on by Georgia nurses in a prior convention. They discuss their unionization as members of the American Nurses' Association and the disconnect between them and the Hospital Association of Dekalb General Hospital. A motion to write a letter of solidarity to the nurses in Dekalb General Hospital is approved. They discuss their frustrations with the lack of recognition for nurses despite their efforts and conclude the meeting without any new business.
