- The second annual Leading Lady Awards honored Ann Cramer, Jane Fonda, Lynne M. Halpern, Ingrid Saunders Jones, Monica Kaufman, Claudia Gaines Patton, and Gina Wright. The celebration included cocktail and dinner music provided by the Justin Ellington Trio; poetry reading by Robert Earl Price (7 Stages playwright-in-residence) from his poems; selections from their new work B.L.A.C.K., written and performed by the members of the Freddie Hendricks Youth Ensemble of Atlanta (Youth company in residence at 7 Stages); selection from Pinocchio's Adventures, performed by Christopher Canon and Megan Stern, a new opera by M. Michael Fauss and Bonnie Pike; and Jazz Stylings, performed by the Justin Ellington Trio.
