- Peter Chang was born in Malaysia in 1947 to an ethnic Chinese family. He and his family immigrated to California in 1979 and he moved to the Atlanta area in 1984 to take advantage of opportunities in the real estate business. Chang worked in real estate in and around Atlanta for over thirty years before retiring in 2017.
In this interview, Peter Chang briefly describes his early life in Malaysia and immigrating to the United States in 1979. He talks about his experiences working in the real estate business in Atlanta from the 1980s until 2017. Chang also discusses his experiences with and impressions of the Buford Highway over the years, describing the Buford Highway as unique in its diversity. He and Muriel Vega discuss various ideas that Chang has had for improving the Buford Highway and enhancing the community around it. - Metadata URL:
