- Originally from Groveland, Fla., Nancy Duncan became blind early in life and has been an advocate for people with disabilities for over thirty years. She is the former director and chief executive of the Disability Resource Group in Atlanta, Ga.
In this interview, Nancy Duncan discusses her early life in Groveland, Fla. and the challenges she faced as a blind student in high school, college and graduate school. She then recounts how her difficulties in seminary school and opportunities in Durham, N.C. motivated her to become an advocate for people with disabilities and improve conditions through her work with the Disability Resource Group.
