- Sean Garrett is a songwriter, music producer, and artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. Garrett was born at Atlanta's Grady Hospital in 1979 and spent much of his childhood in Europe. Garrett signed his first recording contract as a teenager in Europe, and later returned to the United States where he grew his music career. Garrett has been nominated for four Grammy Awards and is well known for creating a range of popular hip hop and R&B records.
Within this interview, Sean Garrett discusses being a native of the city of Atlanta, as well as his childhood growing up in Europe. Garrett also reflects on the impact his time abroad and the city of Atlanta have had on him as an individual and artist.
