- Description:
- Eshe Light was born in 1974 in Atlanta, Georgia and joined the musical group, Arrested Development, in 1988 under the name Montsho Eshe. She toured with the group across the globe until 2012 and now works in the Atlanta area in artist development to train musicians and performers in choreography, creative direction, contract negotiation, and other skills necessary to succeed in the entertainment industry.
In this interview, Eshe Light speaks about her childhood interest in music, dance, and school before joining the group Arrested development. She discusses her relationship with her mother, fellow band mates, and others in the industry who supported her during her early music career. She then tells about her life after leaving Arrested Development in 2012, including the death of her mother, her experience with breast cancer, and her career in artist development. - External Identifiers:
