- Gwynnis Mosby is a professional make up artist with decades of experience in celebrity makeup. An Atlanta native, Mosby was born in Grady Hospital in 1962. Mosby is also the founder of The Gwynnis Mosby Makeup Artist Training Center - a cosmetology school dedicated to professional makeup training.
In this interview, Gwynnis Mosby details her life growing up in the Atlanta area and journey of becoming a professional makeup artist. Mosby reflects on members of the makeup and music industry that influenced her career, as well as some of the musicians she's worked with. She also discusses on the realities and influence of Southern and Atlanta hip hop, as well as her experiences as a professional makeup artist.
