After 7 years of putting money aside for renovation of the third floor council members began moving into the new facilities that was renovated for just under 200 thousand dollars. See Nathan's story for more info." "Moving day at City Hall. Surrounded by boxes, Atlanta City Councilman James Howard has elbow room only after moving into new offices at City Hall Monday. The council members began moving from the first floor into facilities on the third floor, after a renovation which cost just under $200,000. Up until now, some of the 19 council members have been sharing space, but the move will give them each a private office."
