This area contains some of the City's most active industrial sites along the railroad corridor on its northern boundary, the Atlanta Industrial Park (AIP), and commercial activity along Bankhead Highway and the M.L. King & Ashby intersection. The area's residential communities are mostly dense single-family neighborhoods and apartment complexes, some of which are government subsidized.
