- Description on verso: "Haughton Drive. A street and entrance gate at Lockheed's Marietta plant were named in honor of the late former Lockheed Corp. chairman Daniel J. Haughton last week. Above, Bard Allison, assistant general manager of the plant, and Haughton's sister, Sarah Rogers, look at one of the street signs." "L to R = Bard Allison, Assistant General Manager, Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Co. - Ga. and Mrs. Sarah Rodgers, sister of man street named for, look at one of several street signs unveiled in a ceremony Tuesday 15 Dec. at to dedicate the [sic.]. Here is the info you write it: The Lockheed Co. named the main drive through the plant after a former beloved Chairman of the Co. His name was/is Daniel Haughton and he is Retired Former Chairman of Lockheed Corp. (Note he is not pictured here. Not in Pic). Sara Rodgers is/was his sister. Daniel Haughton was originally general manager when the plant opened in the early 1950s. And he was well loved by the work force at Lockheed-Ga. and later rose to President and subs= [sic]."
