- The map illustrates that growth is still moving outward towards the Region's boundaries. The tracts experiencing the greatest net population increase since 1990 are outside the I-285 corridor. West Cobb, North Fulton, eastern Gwinnett and the I-575 corridor in Cherokee county led the Region in attracting new residents between 1990 and 1993.
