- Description:
- Description on verso: " The woman who lives here, Essie Fletcher, is the lead plaintiff on the lawsuit against AHA. She has bad knees, needs another knee operation but has been unable to have the surgery because she lives in a two-story apartment. The handrail on the stairs has been broken for years. She has extreme difficulty getting around." "Essie Fletcher needs knee surgery but can't get it done until she moves into a one-story apartment, since using the stairs without a handrail would counter any surgery benefit. Here she shows where water seeps through the walls upstairs crumbling the bedroom wall."
