Legend includes 1951 and 1982 city limites, land lot lines, district lines, county lines, improved streets, MARTA, fire stations, railroads, grade crossings, railroad under and railroad over, water areas and streams, parks and cemetaries and institutional boundaries, and public libraries as well as a list of sources. Map also lists the Mayor as Andrew Young and the Atlanta City Council members.
