- Description on verso: "MARTA's Decatur rapid rail station continues to take shape. This view, taken from the east, shows the entrance to the station (foreground) and the beginnings of the pedestrian mall (center). The Decatur Station is the first subway station in the southeastern United States. A portion of at-grade track is to the right of the DeKalb County Courthouse (left). The Decatur Station will open for revenue service in December of this year along with the rest of the MARTA east line."
