- This map shows the boundaries of the 1940 and 1950 US Census Metropolitan District. The map also shows the Metropolitan Planning District which consists of Fulton and DeKalb counties. Cobb and Clayton are significant in their presence because part of their boundaries lie within the 1940 US Census Metropolitan District. Cobb County was the third county added onto the District by 1950.
