- Description:
- OutTV Atlanta, a half-hour weekly news and entertainment show focused on LGBTQ life, ran from 1999-2001. The brainchild of Michael B. Maloney, the show was supported financially by Maloney's family and friends. Maloney used his funds to purchase air time, and OutTV aired in Atlanta and Savannah.
The first approximately 12.5 minutes of this video is an interview with Atlanta city councilman Robb Pitts about various issues, including LGBTQ issues. The remainder shows a crowd outside the Tara Theatre waiting to get into a benefit screening of Margaret Cho's film I'm the One that I Want. Cho and her drag queen escort Kitty Leclaw are briefly interviewed. - Metadata URL:
