- Born in Haiti, Yves Lubin (1957-1993), gay activist, writer, and poet, was a correspondent of Franklin Abbott and published under the name Assotto Saint. This letter covers Assoto's artistic plans for 1990 as well as informing Franklin about Jan Holmgren's struggle with AIDS. Holmgren was Saint's partner from 1980 until his death in 1993.
