- Description:
- Terri Wilder is an activist, HIV/AIDS advocate, and social worker who has worked in HIV patient services for over twenty years. She is a native of Georgia who received her Ph.D. in Sociology from Georgia State University in 2010. While a doctoral student, Wilder served as the Chair of the Global Campaign for Microbicides and volunteered with the Hope Clinic at Emory University. She has also given presentations at both local and national conferences on HIV/AIDS, lobbied on behalf of persons living with HIV/AIDS in Georgia as well as Washington, D.C., and published articles on HIV/AIDS.
