- Description:
- Includes envelope addressed to Gough on Center Street, Atlanta, Georgia. Text: I made a valiant attempt to spend $18,000.00 this week -- my supervisor told me that if the money wasn't spent by December one then Atlanta would gobble it up -- what's left of it, that is. Otherwise, and there hasn't been much of that, I've been attempting to recover from Thanksgiving "at home" and cope with the crazies who work for me and the crazies they work with. I haven't even had time for my nightly dose of John Chancellor much less for reading, writing, "the finer things", etc. I tried to get in touch with you when I was through Atlanta pre-holiday but you're a hard man to find, hence my failure. The phone # will help & as I journey back "home" for more holidaying I'll make another valiant effort. (I'm a real prince for efforts these days.) My regards to David (I envy you living next to him -- he's a real pleasure) and to Peg. Write when / if you get a chance. Hopefully I'll see you in a few weeks. Frank.
