- Description:
- Includes envelope postmarked December 4, 1974, addressed to Gough on Panthersville Road in Decatur, Georgia. Snapshot of "One of our students" on a swing enclosed with letter (not scanned). Text: Friday. Dear, dear Cal // Here at the center, Friday afternoon, time past to go home, car is still in shop. That's the context. // I am planning to be in Atlanta next Thursday the 12th on semi-business & might want to impose on you that evening. I will call you at work Thursday when I get there to find out if it's convenient, etc. // Things here are okay/improved. David & his erstwhile girlfriend & co-worker are gone. The center is doing better. I am doing better. Living altogether alone -- not a kindred spirit in twenty miles, not many otherwise much closer is not so bad. I have always had the ability to entertain myself & I'm getting lots of practice. // Work is gaining some directive qualities: I'm still playing w/ Piaget, writing a proposal to get VISTA's, raising money, and working up a new evaluation for the staff. // More when I see you. Frank.
