- Description:
- Marquee of the Capitol Theatre reads "Vodvil, 8 Acts of Vodvil, 15 piece stageband," as the Vaudeville show, and for the film, "William Boyd, Hills of Old Wyoming."The Capitol Theatre was on Peachtree Street in the 200 block, immediately adjacent to the Georgia Theater (renamed the Roxy Theater in 1938). Hills of Old Wyoming was released on April 16, 1937. The traffic on the left of the frame is from a different exposure, since the Capitol was adjacent to the Davison-Paxon Department Store, which eventually expanded into its space..
