- North-South boys' Basketball Team negatives included with a series of photographs made by Dan Lane, commissioned by Coach Dwight Taylor Keith, for the Southern Coaches Athletic Association. Dwight Taylor Keith (1900-1994) founded the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association in 1938, and served as GACA executive secretary for 35 years. The Association published the magazine Coach and Athlete, previously called Southern Coach and Athlete (1938-1952). The magazine is sometimes called Georgia Coach and Athlete. Coach Keith began his post as varsity track and field coach at Georgia Tech in 1945. In the Lane Brothers Assignment Book (1951, p. 295), the series of photographs is described only as the All-Stars football games, made for the "Southern Coaches Athletic Association." This photograph pictures the 8-member South Team in two rows. The group is pictured on a basketball court in front of a bi-colored brick wall. The team's jerseys have stars and the word "South" on the fronts. There is a basketball on the floor in front of the front row.
