- The original print that the Lane Brothers copied had to date before 1927, when the locomotive was moved to the Cyclorama building. The "Texas" was one of the locomotives involved in the Great Locomotive Chase, April 12, 1862, during the American Civil War. The reverse of the print is marked "Texas at Grant Park, Atlanta." and above the Lane Brothers inked stamp, "copied by."
