- Description:
- Exterior view of the Georgia Hotel (sometimes referred to as "Hotel Georgia"). Built in 1924 as the Robert Fulton Hotel, the Georgia Hotel was designed by Emil Charles Seiz. The Fulton Hotel was renamed in 1951 the Georgia Hotel and was demolished around 1971. Both as the Georgia Hotel and the Robert Fulton Hotel the building was noted for the billboard name sign on the roof. Described in some literature as a Beaux-Arts style building, the Fulton Hotel shows many Federal-style elements. Reverse of the print stamped: " Lane Bros. Photographers, 241 Peachtree Arcade Bldg, Atlanta, Ga., MU. B-2513."
