- Envelope description: Eastern Air Lines; Model Airplane Show. The negative envelope includes images from several commissions: The 1940 and 1941 Lane Brothers Assignment Books (pages 42 and 2, respectively) describe a glider contest, the January 4, 1941 entry states, "2 prints of James Shelly Charles [died 1959] and glider, mailed to Carl Fromhagen, Chairman of glider contest committee, Miami, Florida." Two negatives in the envelope are penciled "L.W. Jolson 1946," and two negatives are labled "Naomi Wright" (the 1946-1947 Lane Brothers Assignment Book lists the Wright commission on August 15, 1946).
