- Mike Raffauf was born in Louisville, Kentucky. He moved to Atlanta and started working as a copy editor for The Signal at Georgia State University. His experience as copy editor later landed him a job writing for The Great Speckled Bird.
Mike Raffauf joins Andy Reisinger in an interview discussing The Great Speckled Bird. Raffauf briefly talks about his family and where he grew up. He also talks about his experience moving to Atlanta, writing for the Bird, and going to law school.
