- Roland Passaro was the Director of Industrial Relations for Inflight Services at the Miami headquarters of Eastern Air Lines. He came on board with Easter in 1968 as staff counsel in the Labor Relations Department and moved up to management. His promotion to Director required him to manage negotiating labor agreements, counseling and grievances. He earned a degree in English in 1957 and played baseball as a pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago White Sox. This is a continuation of an interview of his perspective on the negotiations that took place during the strike years.
