- In 1985, Alan "Al" Gibson was named Vice President of Pilot Relations and Administration by Col. Frank Borman. An employee of Eastern since 1964, Al held a number of positions in the Flight Operations Division. His work ethics were enhanced by his degrees in Labor Relations and Business Administration. This interview discusses the relationship between Eastern Air Lines and the pilots as perceived by Al Gibson.
