The date given on the photo is likely too early for both the specific radio model and the school program. Reverse side reads: Crystal detector set with audio tube amplifier. 1922 Attached note reads: Dear Elmo, This is a picture of one of the original Atwater Kent battery-operated radio receivers first used in 1926 in the first city-wide ""school of the air"" in the United States which was a joint project of WSB radio and the Atlanta Public Schools.
