- Painted on window at 16 Central Avenue SW is “The Crown Cork and Seal Company” and a sign that reads "Moved to 37 S. Forsyth, Crown Cork and Seal Co.” To the right is the Sloan Paper Company at 18 Central Avenue SW with a sign that reads "Moved to 483 Whitehall St." In front of the storefronts are a Cohen Brothers Company truck and men working at a cart labeled “Danger.” This item is part of a collection of images of downtown Atlanta streets that were taken before the viaduct construction of 1927 - 1929. Later, some of the covered streets became part of Underground Atlanta.
