- The body of Congressman John Lewis laid in state at the Georgia State Capitol one day before his funeral at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Visitors lined the street waiting to walk through the Capitol building rotunda to view Lewis' flag-draped casket. He died on July 17, 2020 from pancreatic cancer.
