- A private funeral for Congressman John Lewis was held in the sanctuary of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Attendance was restricted due to COVID-19 precautions. Crowds outside of the the church watched the funeral service on a large video screen. John Lewis died on July 17, 2020 from pancreatic cancer.
