- Newspaper assignment sheet attached to print verso identifies photographer (Marlene Karas):"...Story anout Piedmont Park Conservancy. Photo needed of board member Jane Shivers... The open sewer in Piedmont Park has a health hazard sign that is on top of the sewer on the 10th St. side of the park." Two newspaper captions attached to print verso: "Clear Creek through Piedmont Park is polluted by sewage overflows from the city of Atlanta. It is one of the park's many problems" (date-stamped "Thu Apr 25 1991 J/C"), and "Clear Creek now flows through a concrete channel in the 10th Street meadow. The channel will be replaced by a culvert in the first phase of construction (date-stamped "Thu Jun 2 1994 C L").
