- The Georgia Institute of Technology Yellow Jackets and the University of Georgia Bulldogs freshman football squads (later known as junior varsity) played a Thanksgiving Day game annually, 1933-93. Held on Grant Field at Georgia Tech, the games' proceeds benefited the Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta. Caption: "Bullpups in dress rehearsal: Now bring on those Tech Men!
