- Photographic print of a teepee and two tents on the grounds of the Washington State capitol, Olympia. In the summer of 1968 a group of Native Americans and their Supporters led by Janet McCloud pitched tents on the grounds of the state capitol to help bring attention to the problems of Native Americans. Newspaper caption attached to verso of print: "Teepee Encampment in 1968 on Washington State's Capitol Grounds. One of most deeply felt Indian grievances is loss of their land." Caption stamped with date: "Jan 11 1970 Sun Jnl-Consti."
