- Printed on assignment sheet: "Idea: It's been three years since actress Kim Basinger bought most of the town of Braselton, and still no signs of mammoth development her company planned. Since the buyout, most businesses in small downtown have closed. Basinger Co. claims slow economy has halted plans, yet developement at Chateau Elan, also in the town, going full speed. Pics to show contrast. Caption: Almost every corner of the main drag through Braselton, Highway 53, has empty buildings. The auction house still has a sign outside even though the Braselton group owns the empty barn. The Braselton Bros. department store on the opposite corner is also closed."
