- Newspaper caption attached to print verso identifies photographer Hugh Stovall: "Bus rolling again. Greyhound bus driver C.H. Reeves of Birmingham takes the ticket of a passenger, William West of Atlanta, at the company's station here before a bus leaves for Birmingham and eventually travels to Los Angeles. After being idled by a one-week strike, Greybound buses were back on the road across the nation after tentative agreement on a new contract that a union official said provides a 16 per cent increase in wages and benefits."
