It was a happy new year Tuesday as more than 4,000 workers at the Lockheed-Georgia plant in Marietta returned to their jobs, ending an 84-day strike. Here, the first shift to return leaves the plant at 3:30 p.m. As part of the settlement, strikers will get bonus paychecks of about $500 for nine Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays during the strike.
